Welcome to St John's Church, Hazelwood

St John the Evangelist Church is the parish church situated in the village of Hazelwood in mid-Derbyshire.  It serves the local villages of Hazelwood, Shottle, Shottlegate, Blackbrook, Cowers Lane and Farnah Green and some of our congregation also come from further afield.  We are a happy church and visitors are always welcome to our services.

Sunday School is held at 11.00am on the first Sunday in the month.  We meet in church to join the congregation for the first hymn and then we go to the Memorial Hall next door for our own session.  Click on the button on the left for more details.

There is a short Family Service and Communion on the third Sunday in the month starting at 9.45am.
